I live out of the area, we looking to send a present locally,, telephoned them asking about kids books. Janice (the customer service person) organised my books and payment over the phone, with ease. Also dropped them off to the address on the way home. WOW! That is what customer service was like before computers, Fantastic! 10 out of 10 for customer service.

Absolutely excellent service, with staff who love books just as much as their customers. Everyone is always well-mannered and keen to help - even with the vaguest of requests. I would advice everyone to use this store.

MY FAVOURITE BOOK SHOP EVER!! Dymocks Wollongong have the best staff, they are all so friendly. Amanda, Georgia, and Janice, their customer service is exceptional, attentive and very helpful! Always giving great and honest recommendations on books. Every time I’m in - I always see Amanda, she’s probably recommended nearly every book I’ve purchased for the past few years now, and I’ve loved every single one of them! 🤩

Loved the assistance received. Even though I showed up not long before closing time, the 2 lovely ladies were welcoming and helpful and had a very friendly approach. They made what usually is an indecisive chore for me (trying to find the right children's book) easy and fun. Would recommend to anyone looking for what I deem to be proper, good old customer service. Thank you ladies.

One of the best bookstores I’ve been to. Always neat and presentable, cosy and a warm environment made better by professional and friendly staff 👍 Never felt like I was unwelcome, or had a promotion/mark up pushed on me and can always count on them for the best book recs 👏
